Standard B Grade Pallets

Characterized as having two or more repairs in each forklift cavity; sometimes B Grade Pallets are referred to as #2 High Grade.

What is Standard B Grade Pallets?

Some other characteristics that the Standard B Grade pallets have include:

Six to seven boards on the top deck. The amount of boards on the top deck depends on the width of the boards, which are usually 3.5 to 5.5 inches.
Top deck boards have an average spacing of 2.5 to 3.5 inches.
Four boards or more on the bottom deck.
Three stringers between the top deck and the bottom deck.
Repairs made to the stringers.

If you are looking to send goods wholesale to a warehouse or distributor, be aware that not all of them will accept B grade pallets. If there is a specific pallet requirement in place, anything not meeting minimum standards can be rejected at the shipper’s and/or carrier’s expense.
